It's Flying!

No not pigs or cows, but TIME!  Time is flying which means.........I have gotten OLD! LOL  No seriously, do you realize that March is almost over?  Amazing isn't it?  It is simply fascinating how when you are a child, the days last FOREVER and you are sure you will NEVER grow up, then BAMM!  Here you are, a middle-aged adult with kids of your own.  Life is simply amazing.  There are no other words.

Since time passes us by so quickly, it is of utmost importance that we use our time wisely. What can we do with every waking hour to make the most of what time we have?  No one has to be a work-a-holic because rest is healthy, but how many of us spend too much time on the computer(guilty), looking at Facebook(guilty), watching television, texting, working, or hobbying?  What can we do to make better use of our time?  What can we do to be more effective people helping those around us?

Pay attention to the details of the people in your life.  In two years, I have known two people under the age of 35 who have committed suicide.  I wonder how many times these people cried out for help in their own way but the people around them were too busy to really notice?  When we become so self-absorbed that we don't hear the problems or concerns of those around us we have a problem.

Time is flying.  Are you an active participant or just a bystander oblivious of it all who will one day look back and say "Where did it all go"?.   Think about it.

Ephesians 5:15-16  "See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil."

Bloggety, Bloggety, Blog, Blog, Blog!

  Sometimes I wonder if it is worth it to blog.  Sometimes I wonder if people do anymore than just read the words on the page.  Do they take anything I say seriously? (note: there is a difference between seriously and personally) Do they take anything anyone says seriously?  Does arrogance and pride keep them in their own perfect little world where they are right and everyone else is merely, uh, ignorant?   Does anyone even care at all anymore about anyone other than their own self?  I don't see much care for others happening on a day-to-day basis around me.  Do you?
  Tell me, why are people so easily offended?  Why do people take things personally?  I would say to them "If something I say seems personal or offends you,  then take a closer look at your own self."  Generally when something offends or comes across as a personal attack, it is simply because it rubs us the wrong way.  It makes us realize we are human and not perfect.  When we realize our mistakes we realize our potential for growth.
  I had decided to end my blog because of some negativity, however, I have now chosen to blog along.  My primary goal in life is to help others and sometimes that means offense.  Jesus offended the masses.  Why should I expect any less?  Why should I strive for less? Our daily goal as Christian wives and mothers should be to live for God Almighty alone, doing all to please Him.
